Erica
Two weeks ago today, the lives of a great many people were changed by one single event. While many of us were profoundly saddened by what happened, there were also many who were helped by a profound life gift of life that was given to them.
To all of you who have offered words of support, encouragement, and otherwise showed your love and understanding, I say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Please continue to pray for Erica and her family during the days and months ahead.

We are “confirmed” to play from 9:15 to 10:00. What that actually means in bar time remains to be seen, but the set will be worth showing up for.
Hope to see you there!

Once again, we have been invited by our good friends Relentless to join them in performance at a local club. This time it is the famous Token Lounge at 28949 Joy Road in Westland on Saturday December 4th. Note that we do not know exactly what time we will start but we are supposed to go on first–right before Relentless play their set. This will probably be after 9PM but I will try to update this information if and when I find out. We’ll be featuring a healthy dose of tunes from Waldon’s new CD, In This Place, along with a few other fun gems. Hope to see you there!!!

This Saturday, October 23rd, we are scheduled to perform a set at Simon’s in Allen Park. Our good friend Jeff Shaw’s band, Relentless, will be featured as well. The show starts at about 9PM and we should be going on first. Waldon will have plenty of copies of his new CD “In This Place” on hand if you don’t have your own copy yet. We’ll be playing several tunes from that disc and a few other fun songs as well. So please come out and enjoy some great music.

Family, friends, and lovers of music:
The new CD ‘In This Place‘ has been released!
A brief description:
In This Place is the latest of seven CD releases from guitarist/composer Waldon Reed, Jr. Returning with more tone and technique guitar explorations together with trademark compositional complexities In This Place showcases the intimate and often ‘jaw dropping’ vocal deliveries of Jane Renwick Fry. Lyrically, In This Place examines facets of ‘belief and unbelief’ amidst truths found in the Christian faith. With musical roots deep in progressive ideals, Reed uses highly structured forms with kaleidoscope-like harmonic progression to create the platform for unpredictable moments of intense expression ranging from somber to explosive. Two of the nine tracks are instrumental and give an affirmative answer to the question: is there anything left to ‘say’ on the electric guitar? While current trends in Christian music would have us believe that Christian and creative are mutually exclusive terms In This Place proves that it needn’t be so.
*For those who regularly cross my path you can purchase the CD directly from me and save $2.00 in mailing costs.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to listen. I encourage and appreciate the sharing of this info with anyone that you feel might be interested in it.
Many thanks,
Waldon

We had a wonderful time, and look forward to playing again some time soon. In the meantime, there are again rumors and rumblings of pending recording sessions. . .
